Born on 1st December, 1964. Completed her LLB and LLM from Poona University, Pune. Studied B.A Pol. Science (Hon) from Kohima College, Kohima. She did her M.A in Pol. Science from Osmania University, Hyderabad. She also did her Diploma in Labour Law in 1987 from Poona University Pune.

She started practicing in the year 1987 at Guahati High Court, Kohima. She was appointed as Judicial Magistrate Second Class (JMSC) Gr.III in Wokha district Nagaland on 1991. In 1997, she served as Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Gr.II in Kohima District Court. Thereafter, she was appointed as Addl. Deputy Commissioner (Judl) Gr.I in Kohima on 2005.
She was also appointed as Principal Judge Fast Track Court Family Court 2007 to 2012 for Kohima, Wokha, Zunheboto, Kiphire & Phek Districts. She served as District & Session Judge in Mon District from 2012-2013. From December 2013 to 2017, she served as a Special Judge/Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings (TDP) Vigilance Commission in Kohima District. From 12th June, 2015 to March 2018, she was also a Member Secretary, Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA). She served as District & Sessions Judge Wokha in the year 2018 to 2019. On Sept. 2019 to March 2023, she was posted in Kohima as Secretary (Judicial) Department Of Law & Justice. She is currently serving as District & Sessions Judge in Wokha District Court.
