Hon’ble Mr. Justice Kakheto Sema

Justice Kakheto Sema was born on 06-07-1963 in Mokokchung, Nagaland.
He did his schooling from Christ King School, Kohima, and T.M. High School Kohima, and obtained his B.A. degree from Synod College, Shillong, under North Eastern Hill University (NEHU).
After completing his LL.B. degree from New Law College, Bombay, under the University of Bombay (now Mumbai), he enrolled as an Advocate under the Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, etc. on 20.09.1989.
Practiced in the Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench, and the Subordinate Courts of Nagaland in constitutional, service, criminal and civil cases. He was appointed as the Additional Advocate General of Nagaland on 12-06-2012 and designated as a Senior Advocate by the Gauhati High Court on 04-08-2014.
Thereafter, he was appointed as the Sr. Additional Advocate General, Nagaland, on 18-07-2016 and continued in that capacity till his elevation as an Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court on 13-10-2021.
